Whether you enjoyed the Puppy Bowl, the Super Bowl, and/or frolicking in the snow this weekend, we at Persist Brooklyn hope that you continue to stay safe & warm and that you didn't miss your chance to confirm your eligibility to vote in our upcoming endorsement process! In case you missed it, Persist Brooklyn will be endorsing in the following NYC races: Comptroller, CD-35, and CD-39. Candidates in qualifying races have received and will be returning a comprehensive questionnaire, and in the weeks that follow (tentatively 2/21 for Comptroller, 2/27 for District 35, and 2/28 for District 39) we’ll be holding interviews via Zoom with the candidates who align with our progressive values.

All members of the Persist Brooklyn community, barring a conflict of interest in a particular race, are invited to participate in these interviews and the subsequent community deliberations! Join the #team-electoral-strategy channel in our SLACK to get more involved.

Finally, if you are around this Friday evening, be sure to join us at our inaugural YAPPY HOUR with the Craft Team. What better way to get ahead of the Valentine's Day Blues than to write to #DefundCruz whilst gabbing with all of youse...? Happy Tuesday, Izsac from Persist Brooklyn
